I didn't have time to upload monthly in 2018 so, at the end of the year, I uploaded my 50 favourite photos from that time. We start with Christmas 2017. First my own decorations, then four pictures from my daughter's brilliantly festive Christmas Day lunch and then two from my own little attempt, experienced only by me and an owl and a flaming Christmas pudding.

The birds got frightened and left in a hurry.

In the evening the pier gave us all a really good firework display, also on purpose.

In October the family went for a woods walk at Highwoods in Colchester and I had a reflective moment.

In the same month I popped over the see the swans and their friends at Mistley.
