THE MONTH.

So what does Tashy do now? The complete history of England is finished and, I have to admit, it is one of the things I have done in my life of which I am most proud. Of course it isn't the complete history as it doesn't include every single or even significant event. The aim was to tell a story and sometime, in a good story, you choose to leave out bits either because you have enough or to tempt your reader to pop off and find out more. It is complete in so far as it takes the reader, the follower, from the last Ice Age to the present day.

The help, guidance and supportive comments I have received from that small select group who acted as my guide has been incredible. Thank you all so much but, as you all know, we haven't finished yet. We want it to be even better.

Between now and next August, I, and they, will be going back over each individual time period and seeing if we should add more, correct any unintentional error or remove something which seemed right but probably isn't. I will certainly be encouraging comments and advice from anyone else who comes across the site in the next ten months.

Then it is time to bring as much of this history alive as I can. To go out, find examples of things I have written about, places I have mentioned, people who have figured in the narrative and, through short, simple video clips, enhance the written text and pictures that are already there. It will be hard, it will require an amazing amount of detailed planning but, if I succeed, it will rank high on my list of achievements and, as one of my heroes once said, life is measured in achievements not in years alone. It is my intention to keep striving to achieve more for as long as I am given the life to do so. Let's go.
