7 June 2021
Tashy has been doing rather a lot during May and the first week in June. For the first time in twenty three years, I've moved home. True I spent eight years
travelling the world living out of a suitcase but then you are packed to move, only carrying what you need. This time I had to pack up, move, organise and unpack
over 11 years of accumulated belongings plus furniture that was in place when I moved in.
It gave me little time for much else but now it's done and I've moved from my small first-floor, two-bedroomed flat above a parade of shops in the centre
of a busy seaside town to a larger, again two-bedroomed accommodation but this time it's on two floors and, better still, it has a garden, a good size garden.
I've only been here just over a week and already I love it. I feel more relaxed, maybe too relaxed, and the joy of bringing home your shopping and not
having to carry it up a flight of stairs before reaching your kitchen is an added bonus.
Now I must return to work. I leave you with a picture from the
end of my new back garden.
