Among my many interests, I no longer call them jobs, is photography. As you may know I have my own site where some of my photos can be bought. End of ad. My great love is landscape photography. I love nature. Nature is there for us to enjoy not exploit. Nature has always been female so equating the mountain to a woman is nothing new; the phraseology can be taken several ways.

The song is sung by John Denver with whom I have always identified since I first found him in about 1974. However this was written by a lady called Tracey Wickland and, I believe, was in protest at some thing happening in her local area. Sadly, I can find out no more.
